🎧 Toneify – Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

❓ What is Toneify?
Toneify creates custom Tonie-compatible figures and accessories that work with the Toniebox audio system. We convert your favorite characters, toys, or custom creations into fully functional Tonies that play your favorite audio.

🎨 What products do you offer?
We offer:

  • Custom Tonie conversions (We source the figure or send us your own figure/item.)
  • Pre-made Toneified figures from popular characters
  • Custom audio options including songs, stories, or your own recordings

💾 Can you really Toneify any character or item?
YES, but there are some restraints, including but not limited to the below:

  • Availability of figures or items to accommodate the request
  • Cost restraints to source the item to accommodate the request
  • Though uncommon, some items may need additional customization to be Toneified, or in rare instances certain items may lack the structure/material to be Toneified

🧸 Can I do this myself, and if so, why use Toneify?
Absolutely! We love DIY and this is a project one could certainly take on!

So Why use Toneify?

  • Simplicity: We take care of everything for you and only charge a modest service fee. The figures and Tonie chips are provided at cost.
  • Cost: While a practiced DIY'er may be able to save a few bucks, most will find that they ended up paying more trying to DIY. The reason for this is that we not only provide the Tonie chip and the figures at cost, but it is extremely hard to remove a Tonie chip without damaging it. Every mess-up is $20 down the drain :-(
  • Quality: We have tried and true methods for modifying figures and items, securely embedding magnets and Tonie chips that we—among other techniques—often encapsulate in high-density foam for secure placement and durability.
  • Support a small business: Community is so important, we know you have options as a consumer, and we appreciate every customer for choosing us and helping us along the way!

⚠️ Are these official Tonies?
No. While we use official purchased Tonie Chips, we are not affiliated with Tonies®.
These are custom, third-party products compatible with the Toniebox. All trademarks are property of their respective owners, including that of any item or figure we use in the Tonification process such as Funko®. We simply provide the service of modifying items into Tonies—any sourced items are provided at cost.

⏱️ How long does it take to get my custom Tonie?
Turnaround time is typically:

  • Pre-made products: Ship within 3–5 business days with some exceptions
  • Custom orders: Often 7–14 business days, possibly sooner depending on the request

📦 What if my order is damaged or doesn't work?
All items are tested prior to shipping. However, if an issue does arise, we offer:

  • A 7-day return window for pre-made items
  • Custom orders are non-refundable unless defective

Note: Returns will be tested to ensure the item is in fact defective, so please be sure to contact us for assistance first, as a defective unit will be a rare instance.

💳 What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards, PayPal, Shop Pay, and more—processed securely through our Shopify store.

🔊 Will these work on my Toniebox?
Yes! All Toneify figures and conversions are designed to work with any Toniebox from the U.S., U.K., or E.U.

🌎 Do you ship internationally?
At this time, we ship primarily within the U.S. For international shipping, please contact us directly before ordering.
